Reno/Tahoe International’s 21 approach charts serve four of its six runway ends, leaving two ends without a published approach. The mix is weighted towards RNAV (GPS), supplemented by ILS, localiser and VOR procedures, so the coverage is not dependent on a single approach type. The parallel 17/35 runways provide 9,000 ft and 11,001 ft respectively; aircraft requiring more than the 6,102 ft available on 08/26 therefore have two longer runway options.
