Boire Field’s one 6,000 ft runway has published approaches to both ends, so instrument procedure coverage is not confined to a single landing direction. The set combines ILS and localiser options with two RNAV (GPS) approaches, providing both ground-based and satellite-based procedure types. With no second runway, however, there is no alternative runway alignment.
Manchester Boston Regional, Laurence G Hanscom Field and Lawrence Municipal have much broader procedure sets nearby, while Fitchburg Municipal and Minute Man Air Field have thinner coverage than Boire Field. The New York sectional adds wider VFR context, while the Boston Terminal Area Chart provides a more detailed terminal-area view beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
