Approach coverage

Both ends of Beaver County’s sole runway have published approach coverage. The four procedures combine two RNAV (GPS) approaches with VOR and localiser options, giving the field both satellite-based and ground-based guidance rather than concentrating access on one runway end. With only the 4,501 ft Runway 10/28 available, aircraft needing more runway have no longer strip or alternative alignment on the field.

Local chart context

Pittsburgh International has far broader procedure coverage than Beaver County. Zelienople Municipal and New Castle Municipal have the closest comparable chart sets, while Columbiana County and Youngstown Elser Metro are more thinly covered. The Detroit Sectional supplies broader VFR orientation, while the Pittsburgh Terminal Area Chart adds more detailed context for the Pittsburgh area beyond the airport-specific instrument procedures.
