Grand Strand’s five approach charts cover both ends of its sole 05/23 runway. The mix of ILS and localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR coverage provides both satellite-based and ground-based guidance within a compact set. With no separate departure procedure chart listed, the publication is weighted towards arrivals and minima. The single 5,997 ft runway also means every charted approach leads to the same strip rather than offering a second runway alignment.
Myrtle Beach International has the only nearby procedure collection that is similarly broad, and is slightly larger. Twin City’s coverage is notably thinner, while Conway-Horry County, Columbus County Regional and Cape Fear Regional sit between those levels. The Charlotte Sectional adds wider visual-navigation context around North Myrtle Beach that the terminal procedures do not provide.
