Georgetown County’s instrument provision is narrow and entirely GPS-based: two RNAV approaches serve two of the airport’s four runway ends. Half the available ends therefore lack a published approach, while the absence of an airport diagram keeps the chart set focused on arrivals and minima rather than ground layout. Runway 05/23 is 1,466 ft longer than Runway 11/29, creating a clear distinction between the airport’s two landing lengths.
Myrtle Beach Intl has substantially broader chart coverage among nearby fields, while Robert F Swinnie’s set is thinner. Conway-Horry County, Mt Pleasant Regional-Faison Field and Williamsburg Regional match Georgetown County in total chart count. The Charlotte Sectional adds wider VFR context beyond the instrument procedures.
