Bishop International’s two crossing runways each have procedures serving both directions, so the instrument set is not concentrated on one alignment or runway end. The eight approach plates span ILS, RNAV (GPS), VOR and localiser procedures, providing both precision and non-precision guidance. With both runways exceeding 7,200 ft, neither alignment is merely a short secondary strip; each contributes substantial usable length alongside full end-by-end approach coverage.
Oakland County International and Livingston County/Spencer J Hardy have broader published procedure sets nearby. Prices, Owosso Community and Dupont/Lapeer are covered much more thinly. The Detroit Sectional adds the wider VFR planning context that airport-specific diagrams and instrument procedures do not provide.
