Hutchinson Regional’s defining feature is complete instrument coverage: published approaches serve all six ends of its three-runway layout. The mix of RNAV (GPS), VOR, localiser and ILS procedures means the set is not confined to one form of guidance and includes a precision option. Runway 13/31 provides 7,003 ft, roughly 2,600–3,000 ft more than either of the other runways, giving a distinctly longer alignment where greater runway length is needed.
Nearby procedure coverage is much thinner. Each listed field has only three to five published charts, compared with Hutchinson’s 14, so none has a comparably broad terminal chart set. The Kansas City and Wichita sectionals add wider VFR context beyond the terminal procedures, with Hutchinson covered by both sheets.
