Iowa City Municipal’s procedure set is tightly focused: three approaches serve only two of the four runway ends, so instrument coverage is selective rather than available on every alignment. Two RNAV (GPS) procedures provide most of that coverage, with one VOR approach as the other published option. No airport diagram is included.
Runway 07/25 provides 802 ft more length than 12/30, while the two-runway layout supplies a second alignment. Among nearby fields, The Eastern Iowa has the broadest chart set; Muscatine Municipal and Washington Municipal are closer to Iowa City in coverage, while Marion and Mathews Memorial have notably thinner sets. The Chicago Sectional adds the regional VFR picture not contained in the airport-specific instrument procedures.
