Approaches on both runway alignments

Muscatine Municipal’s approach set serves all four runway ends, so neither of its two alignments is omitted from the published instrument coverage. The procedures combine RNAV (GPS) coverage with ILS and localiser options. Runway 06/24 provides 1,500 ft more length than 12/30, making the available distance materially different between the two alignments.

Nearby chart coverage and VFR context

Davenport Municipal and Quad Cities International have broader chart sets, while Washington Municipal and Iowa City Municipal are closer to Muscatine’s level of coverage. Mathews Memorial has a much thinner set. The Chicago Sectional adds the wider visual and navigation context around Muscatine that the airport-specific terminal procedures do not provide.
