Instrument procedures serve all four runway ends at Jamestown Regional, rather than concentrating access on a single alignment. RNAV (GPS) forms the largest group, supplemented by VOR and localiser procedures and an ILS. This provides both satellite-based and ground-based approach coverage. Runway 13/31 is 752 ft longer than 04/22, making it the alignment with the greatest available runway length, while both alignments have published approaches at each end.
Barnes County Municipal has the broadest chart set among the nearby fields, but its four published charts are still much thinner than Jamestown’s coverage; each of the other listed airports has three. The Twin Cities Sectional adds the wider visual and en-route context around Jamestown that the airport-specific terminal procedures do not show.
