Lincoln’s single fixed-wing runway has instrument procedures serving both ends rather than concentrating coverage on one direction. The three approach plates provide RNAV (GPS) options alongside ILS and localiser guidance, combining satellite-based procedures with ground-based guidance. The 6,001 ft runway is the only fixed-wing alignment; H1 is a separate 60 ft concrete helipad rather than an alternative runway direction.
Nearby chart coverage varies sharply. Beale AFB has a substantially broader procedure set, while Yuba County is closest to Lincoln in overall chart volume. Auburn Municipal and McClellan Airfield have thinner sets; Sacramento International is broader still. The San Francisco Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context around Lincoln, complementing the procedure-focused instrument plates.
