Procedure coverage

Tri-County Regional’s three approaches serve only two of its four runway ends, leaving the remaining ends without a dedicated instrument procedure. The mix of two RNAV (GPS) procedures and one localiser approach also gives one served end more than one procedure type. Runway 09/27 provides 5,000 ft of available length, while the 1,850 ft 18/36 is relevant only to aircraft able to operate within that much shorter distance.

Regional chart context

Iowa County has slightly broader procedure coverage, while Richland’s chart set is notably thinner. Sauk/Prairie, Reedsburg Municipal and Boscobel sit closer to Tri-County Regional in overall chart coverage. The Chicago Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context absent from the airport’s instrument procedures, particularly useful because no airport diagram is published.
