Boscobel’s two instrument approaches are both RNAV (GPS) procedures, each serving one of the airport’s four runway ends. Instrument coverage is therefore limited to half of the available runway directions, with no non-GPS approach represented. The 5,000 ft runway offers substantially more distance than the 3,658 ft runway, so aircraft requiring the longer dimension do not have an equivalent option on the second alignment.
Iowa County has the broadest nearby chart set, while Prairie du Chien Municipal and Tri-County Regional are also more extensively covered than Boscobel. Viroqua Municipal is comparable in chart count, and Richland’s set is notably thinner. The Chicago Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context that the instrument procedures provide only selectively; no separate airport diagram is published.
