Lawson AAF pairs a single 10,002 ft runway with approach coverage to both ends. Its four approach charts collectively provide ILS and localiser guidance, two RNAV (GPS) options and a VOR procedure. This gives both conventional and satellite-based coverage rather than concentrating every procedure on one runway end. The runway provides substantial distance, although all arrivals and departures use the same 15/33 alignment.
Columbus and Auburn University Regional each have eight published charts, making their chart sets slightly broader than Lawson’s six. Weedon Field is close in coverage with five, while Harris County and Lanett Regional have much thinner sets at three each. The Atlanta Sectional adds the wider VFR context around Fort Benning (Columbus) that the airport diagram and instrument procedures do not provide.
