Instrument coverage across both runways

MBS International has published approaches to all four runway ends, rather than concentrating instrument access on a single alignment. The mix includes ILS, localiser, RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures, providing more than one form of instrument guidance across the two-runway layout. The 8,002 ft runway also offers 1,602 ft more length than the crossing runway, giving the configuration a distinct longer-runway option.

Nearby and VFR coverage

Among the listed nearby fields, Saginaw County/H W Browne has the broadest chart coverage, though its set remains notably thinner than MBS. James Clements Municipal has the sparsest coverage. The Detroit and Lake Huron sectionals add wider-area visual context beyond the airport-specific terminal procedures.
