Approach coverage

Searle Field’s five approaches serve all four ends of its two runways, giving each alignment a published instrument procedure rather than concentrating coverage on a single runway. Four are RNAV (GPS) procedures, while the VOR approach provides the set’s sole conventional alternative. No airport diagram is published.

Runways and nearby coverage

Runway 08/26 is 1,402 ft longer than 13/31; on length alone, aircraft requiring more than 3,700 ft would be limited to the longer alignment. Grant Municipal’s six-chart set is closest in breadth to Searle Field, with Holyoke also carrying five charts. Billy G Ray Field is much more lightly covered with two. The Cheyenne and Omaha sectionals add wider VFR route and airspace context beyond the terminal procedures.
