Sidney’s four approaches divide evenly between RNAV (GPS) and VOR procedures, providing both satellite-based and conventional options. Only two of the four runway ends receive published approach coverage, so the instrument chart set is not symmetrical across the runway layout. The 6,600 ft concrete runway also offers substantially more length than the 4,705 ft turf runway, making the two strips distinct in both dimension and surface.
Holyoke’s five charts most closely approach Sidney’s level of published coverage. Kimball, Sterling and Garden County each have somewhat thinner four-chart sets, while Billy G Ray Field has only two. The Cheyenne sectional adds the broader visual-reference context around Sidney that is outside the scope of the approach and minimums sheets.
