Eppley Airfield’s instrument coverage reaches all six runway ends across three alignments, rather than concentrating approaches on one preferred direction. The mix of ILS, RNAV (GPS) and localiser procedures provides more than one form of guidance on several ends, with two ILS procedures carrying CAT II/III minima. All three concrete runways exceed 8,000 ft, so none functions as a short secondary strip within the configuration.
Offutt AFB has the broadest procedure set among the nearby fields, though it remains smaller than Eppley’s. Council Bluffs Municipal has a more moderate collection, while Millard, Blair Executive and Plattsmouth have much thinner coverage. The Omaha Sectional adds broad-area visual context beyond the airport-specific detail of the terminal procedures.
