Council Bluffs Municipal’s approach coverage reaches all four ends of its two runways, so no runway direction is omitted from the published instrument set. RNAV procedures form the majority, while ILS, localiser and VOR options provide additional guidance types. Runway 18/36 offers substantially more length than 14/32; the shorter runway adds another alignment rather than comparable available distance. The airport diagram and hot-spot sheet supplement the airborne procedures with ground-layout detail.
Nearby procedure coverage varies sharply. Eppley Airfield and Offutt AFB have broader chart sets than Council Bluffs, while Millard, Blair Executive and Plattsmouth Municipal have much thinner coverage. The Omaha Sectional adds the wider visual reference context around Council Bluffs that the airport-specific instrument procedures do not provide.
