Richard B Russell Regional’s procedures serve all four ends of its two runways, rather than concentrating instrument coverage on a single alignment. RNAV (GPS) approaches provide most of that coverage, supplemented by ILS and localiser guidance. Runway 01/19 offers 2,512 ft more length than 07/25, so the runway length available changes materially with the chosen alignment. The airport diagram supports ground planning across the two-runway layout.
Cartersville has the broadest nearby procedure set, exceeding the coverage published for RMG. Tom B David Field, Polk County/Cornelius Moore Field, Barwick Lafayette and Dalton Municipal all have markedly thinner sets. The Atlanta Sectional adds wider-area VFR context not provided by the airport diagram and terminal procedures.
