Craig Field’s four approach plates serve both ends of its sole 8,014 ft runway. The mix of ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures gives instrument coverage in either runway direction rather than concentrating it on one end; the ILS entries add precision guidance, while RNAV provides a distinct navigation basis. The runway’s length offers considerable physical distance, although the single-runway layout provides no second alignment.
The airport diagram complements the procedure set with ground-layout detail. Among nearby fields, Montgomery Regional has much broader chart coverage, while Maxwell AFB is closest to Craig Field’s total. Prattville/Grouby Field, Vaiden Field and Camden Municipal have distinctly thinner published sets. The Atlanta Sectional adds the wider VFR picture around Selma that terminal procedure and airport diagrams do not show.
