Black Hills-Clyde Ice Field has one RNAV (GPS) approach to each of two runway ends. This provides published instrument arrivals from two directions, but no alternative approach type or second procedure for either served end; four of the field’s six runway ends have no published approach. A single obstacle departure procedure complements the arrival coverage.
Runway 13/31 is the only paved strip and, at 6,401 ft, is substantially longer than either turf runway; aircraft requiring pavement are therefore confined to that alignment. Hulett has the most comparable nearby chart coverage, while Ellsworth AFB and Rapid City Regional have broader sets and Belle Fourche Municipal is much thinner. The overlapping Billings and Cheyenne sectionals add wider VFR context beyond the airport-specific procedures.
