Moody AFB’s procedure set serves all four ends of its two parallel runways. The mix of ILS, localiser and RNAV (GPS) procedures gives each runway direction substantial instrument coverage rather than concentrating approaches on one preferred end. With both runways exceeding 8,000 ft and the longer reaching 9,300 ft, the layout provides two substantial parallel strips rather than a short secondary runway.
Valdosta Regional has the broadest nearby procedure set, though its nine charts are only half Moody’s total. Homerville, Cook County, Berrien County and Quitman Brooks County have much thinner coverage, with three to five charts each. The Jacksonville Sectional adds the wider visual-navigation context around Valdosta that airport-specific instrument procedures do not show.
