Valdosta Regional’s procedures serve three of its four runway ends, leaving one end without a published approach. The mix includes ILS and localiser options alongside three RNAV (GPS) and two VOR forms, giving the field both precision and non-precision coverage. The two runway alignments differ markedly in length: aircraft requiring more than 5,598 ft are confined by runway length to 18/36, while shorter requirements retain both alignments.
Moody AFB has the only nearby procedure collection broader than Valdosta’s, with twice the chart coverage. Quitman Brooks County, Cook County, Berrien County and Homerville all have much thinner sets. The Jacksonville Sectional adds the wider VFR context not shown by the airport diagram and terminal procedures.
