Louise M Thaden Field’s instrument coverage is compact and balanced: two RNAV (GPS) approaches serve two runway ends, so published arrivals are not concentrated on a single direction. A departure procedure and airport diagram complete a small terminal set without alternative approach types.
The asphalt runway provides more than twice the length of the turf strip, making it the more accommodating option for aircraft requiring pavement or greater runway length. Their nearly identical alignments mean the turf strip adds a different surface rather than a materially different direction. Rogers Executive–Carter Field and Springdale Municipal have comparably broad chart coverage, while Northwest Arkansas National has slightly more. Crystal Lake is markedly thinner, with Smith Field also carrying fewer charts. The Kansas City Sectional supplies wider visual-navigation context beyond the terminal procedures.
