Adelaide International Airport

Adelaide International Airport (YPAD) for FSX updates the airfield with corrected gate placement and a cleaner apron layout by removing the obsolete old terminal parking area. The scenery focuses on a more current, functional ground environment that better matches modern operations for airline, cargo, and general aviation traffic.

Adelaide International Airport (YPAD), Australia. Fixes the gates and removes obsolete terminal parking area. By Dusty Bizub.

This is my ninth airport it fixes the gates and I took the old terminal parking area away because they don't use it anymore. I am also now taking requests for airports you want me to try to do.

Installation:

  1. Move file YPAD to C://Microsoft Games/Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/Scenery.
  2. Start up FSX and enjoy.

Other airports by Dusty Bizub:

  • Norfolk International.
  • Newport News/Williamsburg International.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.
  3. Activate in Scenery Library

In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.
  4. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

I am impressed, can you also add Mount Gambier to the list of addon South Australian airports? Thank you.
