Queensland Airports Pack One refreshes 10 regional Australian airfields, from Augustus Downs to Badu Island, with layouts closely matched to current charting and satellite references for believable outback and coastal flying. Designed for FSX, it updates runways, taxiways, and parking to support accurate VFR navigation across Gulf Country, Cape York, and central Queensland.

Queensland Airports Pack One, Australia. By Kym Burton.

New and updated airports for Queensland in FSX. All airports have been built with reference to Google Earth and Australian Air Services website, so should be as close to real as can be made through AFX. Included are:

  • YAGD Augustus Downs (Pastoral/Cattle station in Gulf Country).
  • YALG Adels Grove (Located near Century Mine in Gulf Country).
  • YAMC Aramac (Small pastoral community central QLD).
  • YAPH Alpha (Small cattle town central W QLD).
  • YARY Arrabury (Pastoral/Cattle station far W QLD).
  • YATN Atherton (Situated on Atherton Tableland W of Cairns).
  • YAUR Aurukun (Community on W side of Cape York).
  • YAYR Ayr (Small sugar cane town, S of Townsville).
  • YBAR Barcaldine (Farming town central W of QLD).
  • YBAU Badu Island (Community in Torres Strait).

Installation:

  1. Pplace all .bgl files in your /addon scenery/scenery folder.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
