Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Complete parking overhaul with codes and numbers added. Jetways and parking spots located with the aid of Google Earth and Airservices Australia charts By Alexander Czarnecki.

Installation:

  1. Copy AFCAD .bgl to Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder. Delete all other AFCAD files for this airport.
  2. Copy jfk_jetway.dds (day texture) and jfk_jetway_LM.dds (night texture) from Microsoft Flight Simulator X/scenery/NAME/texture folder and then paste each into the Microsoft Flight Simulator X/scenery/global/texture folder.

Tested with FSX+Accelaration, Traffic X, Ultimate Airport Environment X, FTX AU Traffic V.200, PAI, WOAI, FTX AU Traffic V.200, and custom Traffic.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place AFCAD file

    AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
