Adelaide International Airport (YPAD) gets an updated AFCAD that sharpens parking stands and gate assignments to match Airservices Australia charts and Google Earth while keeping the default scenery intact. Designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it improves AI traffic flow and airline layout compatibility across common traffic packages.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

Adelaide International Airport, Australia, for use with the default scenery. Revises parking according to Airservices Australia charts and Google Earth. By Alexander Czarnecki.

Installation:

  1. Just copy AFCAD to Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Addon Scenery/scenery folder. Delete all other AFCAD files for this airport.

Tested with FSX+Accelaration, Traffic X, Ultimate Airport Environment X, FTX AU Traffic V.200, PAI, WOAI, and custom Traffic.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place AFCAD file

    AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
