AFCAD File For EKBI

Billund Airport (EKBI) gets an accurately rebuilt AFCAD for FSX, aligning gates, taxiways, and apron layouts with Danish Aeronautical Information Publication data and detailed reference imagery. Designed as a clean replacement for the Denmark Scenery 1.3 AFCAD, it improves ground routing and stand placement for reliable online flying, including IVAO.

This AFCAD is ment as a replacement for the AFCAD files included in "Denmark Scenery 1.3" for FSX. It is mainly intended for use online on IVAO network, but can be used anywhere else too.

Features:

  • All gates correctly positioned using data from Danish Aeronautical Information Publication.
  • All taxiways are positioned correctly using picture material from Google Earth (COWI A/S) and data from Danish AIP.
  • Aprons re-drawn.

Known issues:

  • AI traffic can seem buggy at some points.

Installation:

  1. Move "AFX_EKBI.bgl" into your the folder where Denmark Scenery is installed (Usually "..\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\Denmark scenery\scenery" folder, overwriting the existing file.
  2. The AFCAD will become active after you restart FSX.

I have put many hours into making this AFCAD file and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D AFCAD file
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Place AFCAD file

AFCAD files (AF2_*.bgl or AFX_*.bgl) go into FSX\Addon Scenery\Scenery\ or a dedicated AFCAD folder you create.
  3. Always read the included readme

Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
