Structural Modifications and Animation Details

Extensive mdl modifications were incorporated to support comprehensive FS2004 functionality. This rendition preserves approximately 99% of the original animations, including robust thrust reversers for realistic runway roll-out behavior. Engine fans are now visible during external views, although the rotational animation is intentionally removed to streamline performance. For spot-plane observations, a viewing distance of around 666 ft is recommended (some simulators position the aircraft closer by default).

Installation Steps

1. Extract the contents of the provided .zip archive into your FS2004/Aircraft directory.

Once extracted, the new aircraft should be available from your simulator's aircraft selection menu under its designated folder.

When loading this Airbus for the first time, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 will prompt you with a note regarding potential incompatibility. Select “NO” to ensure that the landing gear and other critical elements remain fully operational. If you select “YES” by mistake, some elements (like the gear) may disappear, but reloading the aircraft or reinstalling typically resolves this issue.
