FS2004 Boeing 737-400 VC Light Fix
Boeing 737-400 VC Light Fix refines night cockpit illumination by lowering intensity and shifting the hue for a more comfortable, realistic scan during approaches. It also brightens the default 777-300 virtual cockpit lighting for clearer instrument visibility in FS2004, delivered via updated [LIGHTS] entries and an improved effects file.
Reduces and changes the color of the night lighting in the default B737-400 virtual cockpit. By Vlad Zaitsev.
Tested only in FS2004.
I've made this fix for those who like night landing on B737-400. I think it was too much lighting in B737-400 virtual cockpit. I reduced and changed color of light. Also I fixed VC lighting in B777-300 (it was too dark), now it looks more bright.
Installation:
Don`t forget to save your old files just in case!
1. Overwrite this [LIGHTS] section in your default /737-400\aircraft.cfg file:
[LIGHTS]
//Types: 1=beacon, 2=strobe, 3=navigation, 4=cockpit, 5=landing
light.0=3, -19.14, -47.24, 1.38, fx_navredm ,
light.1=3, -19.14, 47.24, 1.38, fx_navgrem ,
light.2=3, -64.32, 0.00, 4.92, fx_navwhih ,
light.3=2, -18.22, -47.08, 1.38, fx_strobeh ,

light.0 = 3, -52.22,-103.52, 11.38, fx_navredh ,
light.1 = 3, -52.22, 103.52, 11.38, fx_navgreh ,
light.2 = 3, -54.34,-103.64, 11.38, fx_navwhih ,
light.3 = 3, -54.34, 103.64, 11.38, fx_navwhih ,
light.4 = 3,-139.00, 0.00, 8.42, fx_navwhih ,
light.5 = 2, -51.00,-103.40, 11.38, fx_strobeh ,
light.6 = 2, -51.00, 103.40, 11.38, fx_strobeh ,

light.9 = 4, 92.21, 0.00, 8.75, fx_vclighth ,
3. Copy and overwrite fx_vclighth.fx in FS2004\Effects.
