FS2004 Area 51 Package

Area 51’s Groom Lake in Nevada gets a refreshed treatment for FS2004, updating the famous remote airfield environment with revised scenery placement and a cleaner, more believable desert setting for low-level passes or secretive test-range flights. Jeff Higgins’ package sharpens the location’s look and atmosphere while keeping it easy to drop into existing sim scenery.

How to install this mod

FS2004 add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per readme

    FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    The ILS for RWY 12 has a heading of 315.9 degrees? ... also the ILS is pointed that way.

    Should RWy 32R be the 5500 foot long runway? In other words, should the rwys be 30, 32 and 32R (not 30, 32R,32)?

    Maybe someone could check it?
