New Plymouth Regional Airport (NZNP) brings the Taranaki coast to life with custom buildings, accurate AFCAD layout, flattens, excludes, and carefully placed airfield objects for authentic domestic operations. Built for FSX SP2 without Acceleration, it requires VECTOR LANDCLASS to match the intended terrain and object libraries.

New Zealand (NZNP). Welcome to New Plymouth Regional Airport, a medium sized domestic airport in the Taranaki district, on the central west coast of the North Island of New Zealand. By Lawrie Roache.

This scenery was made for FSX SP2, without Acceleration, and with VECTOR LANDCLASS (VLC) (Payware) installed.

Flight1 Software, INSTANT SCENERY Object Placer, and AIRPORT FACILITATOR X (AFX), were used in the making of this scenery.

Credits:

MIKE ANDREWS for all custom buildings in the scenery. (From my original FS9 scenery).

LAWRIE ROACHE for the Afcad, Flattens, Excludes, and placement of all objects in the scenery.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D scenery

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place scenery in Addon Scenery

    Create a folder under FSX\Addon Scenery\ containing scenery and texture sub-folders.

  3. Activate in Scenery Library

    In FSX, go to Settings → Scenery Library → Add Area. Higher priority means it overrides lower entries for the same location.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
