FS2004 TAC Columbia Viscount 837 1977

TAC Colombia’s Vickers Viscount 837 livery recreates aircraft HK-1267 in its second scheme, reflecting its post-Austrian Airlines career across demanding South American routes up to 1977. Designed for FS2004, it refreshes the classic turboprop’s exterior finish and markings and requires Rick Piper’s FSDS Viscount 800 model.

Better known in Europe as OE-IAL, this aircraft flew for Austrian Airlines from March 1960 until October 1971, when it was sold via Shackleton Aviation of the U.K. to TAC of Colombia. Taking up a new identity of HK-1267 it flew in the difficult South American environment until 14 December 1977 when it was written off at Bucaramanga, Colombia. The remains were stored and lasted until about 1997. This was the second livery worn. Requires the FSDS Viscount 800 model by Rick Piper. By Garry Russell.
