Event Logger Gauge for FSX helps diagnose stubborn repeating Key_Events that disrupt panel operation, such as blocked exit or engine selections and overly fast autopilot increments. It records the events for review in real time, making it easier to track down the source gauge and restore precise, reliable cockpit control.

FSX Event Logger Gauge. This gauge is designed to detect repeating FS Key_Events which interfere with normal panel operation. Symptoms of repeating Key_Events include an inability to select a second exit or second engine, as well as accelerated selection on autopilot controls (Course and Heading controls increment by 10 instead of 1, Altitude Select increments by 1000 instead of 100.) This gauge will not tell you which gauge is sending the repeated Key_Events, but by identifying the events themselves, it should make the task of identifying the offending gauge somewhat easier. How to install this mod

FSX / P3D panel / gauge

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place panel files

Panel files go inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\{aircraft}\panel\. Back up the existing panel folder first.
