FS2004 KLM L-1049E Super Constellation PH-LKW

KLM’s 40-year Lockheed L-1049E Super Constellation livery recreates PH-LKW “Deutron,” tracing the aircraft’s 1953 entry into service and classic Dutch airliner styling with period-correct markings. Built for FS2004, it requires Manfred Jahn’s freeware L-1049G base package for full use.

Description Comments

This packet contains the 40 year KLM livery of the Lockheed L-1049E Super Constellation. The PH-LKW "Deutron", c/n 4507, entered service with the KLM in July 1953 as PH-TFW, continued service until 1960 and was scraped in 1965. To be used with the freeware L-1049G from Manfred Jahn (L1049G.ZIP, L1049G_U.ZIP). By Marcel Ritzema.

  • Go to the "Lockheed_L1049G" main-folder.
  • Copy now the texture folders of this packet into the "Lockheed_L1049G" main-folder.
  • Open the aircraft.cfg file and paste the "aircraft.txt" into it after the last [fltsim.x] entry.

MOST IMPORTANT: Number them now in sequence. Meaning the new entries are now "X" and "y" have to be changed into the appropriate numbers else the new texture will not show up.
