Texture files for Transportes Aereos Nacionales of Honduras in the mid 1950's. Some 1950's flight schedules included. Textures only for the C46 by Libardo Guzman, Greg Pepper, and Tom Gibson. Requires C46GA.ZIP. Based on textures by Greg Pepper, Cliff Presley, and Manuele Villa. By Jorge Fernandez.
You will need to have installed the original files for the C-46 described above. Then you need to do the following:
- Copy the texture file texture.tan to your C-46 folder.
- Make a backup copy of your aircraft.cfg file in that folder.
- In your aircraft.cfg file go just after the last entry in the [fltsim.##] list and add the following text, making sure to replace "XX" in the [fltsim.XX] with the next number that would follow after your current last number.
description=Original model by Libardo Guzman, Tom Gibson, and Greg Pepper. Original textures by Greg Pepper, Libardo Guzman, Cliff Presley, and Manuele Villa, this repaint by Jorge Fernandez, December 2009. XH-TNA was c\/n 218, USAAF 43-47147. In 1946 it was sold to the Indian Government, then purchased by TAN in 1954. It went to Aerolineas Peruanas in 1958 as OB-WBA (later OB-OAB), then returned to TAN in 1960. In 1968 it was sold to Inair of Panama as HP-473, and scrapped after 1974. Presently there is presumably a group in Honduras working on the restoration of an abandoned Nicaraguan C-46 intended to be painted as XH-TNA.
