You will need to have installed the original files for the C-46 described above. Then you need to do the following:

  • Copy the texture files texture.lacsa57 and texture.lacsa70 to your C-46 folder.
  • Make a backup copy of your aircraft.cfg file in that folder.
  • In your aircraft.cfg file go just after the last entry in the [fltsim.##] list and add the following text, making sure to replace "XX" in the [fltsim.XX] with the next number that would follow after your current last number.

TI-1008 was c\/n 33379 and was handed over to the USAAF on 5 March 1945 with serial number 44-77983. After one private owner in the United States, it was purchased by LACSA, with which it served from 1949 to 1979. In 1961 it was re-registered as TI-1008C, and then in 1974 as TI-LRB. In 1979 it was transferred to SAISA and registered TI-APA, then sold to LANICA in 1980 as YN-BWY. It returned to Costa Rica as TI-TRA in 1988 with Trans Costa Rica, then was sold again in 1991 to Aerotim Cargo in the Dominican Republic as HI-602CA. After undergoing several owners and repossessions in the 1990's, it appears to have been broken up in May 2001.
