FSX Weapons Pack 4

FSX Weapons Pack 4 expands free-flight missions with selectable stores that deploy via the built-in Drop Object system, including dumb bombs, laser-guided and GPS-guided bombs, plus air-to-air and air-to-ground missiles that travel forward for believable attacks. Designed in FSDS and Gmax, it supports flexible target practice and sandbox combat scenarios.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

This is a weapons pack for FSX (all versions) using FSDS and Gmax to design and build weapons that uses the "Drop Object" in free flight in FSX. This pack includes dumb bombs, laser guided bombs, GPS guided bombs, air to air and air to ground missiles. Even the missiles fly forward! This pack enables you to fly where, when and with what weapons you wish to attack a target or just to have fun! Please read the readme before use as it describes how to install and the limitations imposed. Weapons pack by Christopher Sykes, Gmax models by David Brice (British weapons) and FSDS by Kotaro Akikawa (US weapons).

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D add-on

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place files per the readme

    Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    I'm on FSXSE and for some reason when the bombs hit the ground there is no explosion effect but I can hear the impact sound.
