Doherty’s Difficult & Dangerous Approaches Volume One refreshes the classic challenge flights for FSX with default aircraft substitutions, tuned scenario details, and a locked spot outside view for consistent framing. Most flights load paused and begin near the original start points, making it easy to dive straight into demanding, high-stakes approach practice.

This is an update for FSX of volume one of Doherty's Difficult & Dangerous Approaches. The author has changed most of the aircraft to ones that are default in FSX and also changed a few other things to his preferences, like the outside view to locked spot. All but the first flight start on pause, as that is how things were changed and left the aircraft starting position almost exactly where the original flights began. By Bob Chicilo.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Place files per the readme

Most FSX add-ons go into one of: SimObjects\Airplanes\, Addon Scenery\, Effects\, or Gauges\.
