FSX Most Dangerous Airports: Ronald Reagan Mission

Ronald Reagan National’s Visual Runway 19 mission recreates AirTran’s scheduled arrival in FSX, challenging pilots to trace the river upstream, then execute a tight right-hand turn onto final while respecting restricted airspace aligned with the White House. Includes guided captions and airline-style pacing; requires fsxat378 for the default Boeing 737-800.

Most Dangerous Airports: Ronald Reagan. The next in The Most Dangerous Airport Mission Series: namely Ronald Reagan. This is a mission with real schedule from Airtran and this particular approach is very unusual. The Ronald Reagan visual runway 19 approach is rated as a dangerous approach. The runway heading is in line with the White House grounds and flying over these grounds is restricted. So what now. Simple, approaches from the west. No, not at all. fsxat378.zip this is a addon for the default Boeing 737-800.Thank you Lutz Krieg for releasing this addon.

INSTALLATION:

Unzip the mission zip file as is into the mission directory of your FSX. Make sure your mission show captioning is ticked on.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D mission

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Place mission files

    Missions go into FSX\Missions\ as a sub-folder. The folder must contain an XML file describing the mission.

  3. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.

    Everything seems to load fine for me.

    My problem is the brakes engage on takeoff mid way down

    Sorry, but I have to say that this mission is broken. Computer sounds + gates placed in crazy way.
