FSX Civilian Beech A-11 New VC And Livery

Civilian Beech A-11 package refreshes the classic twin with an optional new virtual cockpit and livery, plus a reworked cockpit for the N92KC variant, updated radio, navigation, and autopilot gauges, and a more authentic engine start sequence. Built for Microsoft Flight Simulator X, it requires the original FS2004 A-11 base files.

Base model included

The package includes a new stand-alone civilian Beech A11 (minus basic files from the original FS2004 A-11 package by Milton Shupe - AT11PKG2.ZIP) with another optional VC and livery and a reworked VC for the previously uploaded package (FSX_FS9AT-11_N92KC_PACK.ZIP). This new staff contains new radio, navigation and autopilot gauges and provides a new accurate and strict engine starting procedure. To make installation easier the package is arranged as a set of two stand-alone aircraft. By Vladimir Gonchar. (See also FSX_CIVILIAL_A-11_RADIO_FIX.ZIP).

  • Download the original at11pkg2.zip file and unpack it to any backup folder.
  • Move "Beech AT-11_INSTANT" and "Beech AT-11_N92KC" folders to the Microsoft Flight Simulator X/SimObjects/Airplanes directory.
  • Copy "model.civil" and "sound" folders from "at11" folder to "Beech AT-11_INSTANT" and "Beech AT-11_N92KC" folders.
  • Copy the content of the "texture.N501" folder to the Beech AT-11_INSTANT/texture.instant and Beech AT-11_N92KC/texture.N92KC folders and add there the respective replacement staff.
  • Copy ST_AT11.cab and ST_D18.cab gauges from at11/panel.vc folder to Microsoft Flight Simulator X/Gauges directory.
  • Copy "effects" folder to the main Microsoft Flight Simulator X directory.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D Complete with Base Model

  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.

  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.

  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
