Textures-only package requires the payware Carenado Cessna 182 and includes a thumbnail plus configuration entry for easy selection.

This is a repaint of the payware Carenado Cessna 182. Textures only. Repaint by Tom Norden.

This is one of my first repaints. If you have the Carenado C182 for FSX you should make a copy of the texture.RED folder. Than rename this into texture.DESHA and copy the two *.bmp into it. Copy the thumbnail9.jpg into the carenado 182 main folder and the part of the aircraft.cfg into the.Aircraft.cfg in the main Carenado C182 folder that's all.

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
Verify in FSX

Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
