This freeware download delivers a meticulously crafted paint set that transposes the classic C33A Debonair registration N2209B onto the Carenado Beechcraft F33A Bonanza for Microsoft Flight Simulator X. Designer Kevin Michael produced the artwork from period?correct reference photography so that every cheat?line, stencil, and placard appears in its true position once the aircraft is loaded in the sim.

Faithful C33A Scheme for the Straight?Tail Bonanza

Although the real?world FAA registration N2209B belongs to a 1966 Beechcraft C33A Debonair, the fuselage geometry of Carenado’s F33A makes an almost one?to?one canvas. The repaint therefore blends Debonair factory colors—cream white upper surfaces accented by a burgundy cheat?line and dove?gray belly—onto the later F33A airframe. Lettering and serial data have been matched to Beechcraft typefaces, preserving authenticity while giving virtual pilots a distinctive private?owner aesthetic.

Step?by?Step Installation

1 – Locate the Aircraft Directory

1. Browse to \SimObjects\Airplanes.
2. Open the folder named Carenado F33A Bonanza (folder name may vary slightly depending on store version).

2 – Copy the Texture Set

1. Drop the entire texture.N2209B directory into the aircraft folder alongside the existing texture subfolders.

3 – Register the Livery

Open aircraft.cfg with a Unicode?aware text editor. Scroll to the final [fltsim.X] section, duplicate it, then replace it with the block below. Increment the value of X so it continues the numerical sequence of the file.

4 – Save and Launch

1. Save the edited aircraft.cfg when prompted.
2. Start Microsoft Flight Simulator X; the new “Bonanza F33A – N2209B” entry will appear under manufacturer “Beechcraft.”

Compatibility Matrix

This repaint targets the FSX version of Carenado’s Beechcraft F33A Bonanza. No native files for Prepar3D, X?Plane or Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020) are included—although users of those platforms may be able to convert textures with third?party tools at their own discretion.
