FS2004 KSAT AFCAD2

KSAT San Antonio International Airport gets improved gate, parking, and airline-coded stand assignments to better match real-world terminal layouts while correcting the default placements for smoother AI traffic flow. Built with AFCAD2 for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004, it also organizes cargo operations with dedicated FedEx, DHL, and UPS parking areas.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

Mostly accurate gate placement for San Antonio International Airport (KSAT), Texas (TX). Corrects default gate and parking placements. For use with default scenery. By Michael Johnson.

Due to the default scenery for Terminal 1 not being completely accurate, I had to make a few changes to the gate placements. I have attempted to place them as accurately as possible. I have also assigned which airline is to be placed at which gate as long as your AI aircraft are programmed for this feature. The AFCAD file conatains the following gate and parking placements:

TERMINAL 1:

Gate 1: I didn't include this gate as it does not have a jetway in real life, is vacant and not used at the airport. It is listed as a "City" gate by the airport.
Gate 2: Aerolitoral/Midwest Express
Gate 3,4,5,6,7,8,9: Southwest ( Gate 8 and 9 are vacant in real life but for purposes of my AI traffic (Ultimate Traffic), I did not have enough Southwest gates)
Gate 10: Northwest
Gate 11: Mexicana/Northwest
Gate 12: Delta/Comair/Delta Connection
Gate 13: Delta/Comair/Delta Connection
Gate 14: Delta/Comair/Delta Connection
Gate 15: United (I was unable to place this gate correctly due to the default scenery incorrectly placed)
gate 16: United (I was unable to place this gate correctly due to the default scenery incorrectly placed)

TERMINAL 2:

Gate 30, 31, 32, 33: Continental/America West (Gate 33 is vacant but has been assigned for purposes of AI Traffic)
Gate 34, 35, 35, 37: American Airlines

CARGO:

I have placed FEDEX and DHL/Airborne Express in the East Cargo Parking areas. West Parkinhg has been assigned to UPS.

Installation:

To install, just copy the .bgl file to FS9\Addon Scenery\scenery and you're done. If you wish to remove it, simply remove the file and the original gate placements will return.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
