FS2004 AFCAD2 File For PANC

Anchorage International Airport (PANC) gets a refreshed AFCAD2 layout that mirrors a recent real-world visit and published airport data, capturing the field’s look and feel with accurately assigned airline gates. Added taxiways improve runway exit flow, while smaller stands are adjusted for practical traffic handling in FS2004.

This AFCAD2 file shows Anchorage International Airport as I remember it when I was there this summer. I also based it on the airport information on their website. I added some additional taxiways to help planes get off the runway quicker, and took some liberty with smaller gates, but the airliner gates are pretty accurate. They are mostly tied to the prototypical gates, and capture the look and feel of the real place.

To Install:

Place the AF2_PANC.bgl file into Flight Simulator 9/Addon Scenery/Scenery. Then start up the simulator and the changes will be present. To uninstall, just delete the file and the default will then be active.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
