Rock Sound International (MYER) gets a sharper, more ATC-friendly layout in FS2004 with taxiway designators, extra hold short points, and light node cleanup for smoother ground routing. Randomized generic AI parking improves distribution, and the tower viewpoint rises to 200 feet for better field awareness; requires the Rock Sound International scenery.

Rock Sound International Airport (fs9myer). Original by Jimmy Martin. This AFCAD 2 Mod merely adds a few details to Jimmy's outstanding airport. The taxiways have been given designations so ground control will give specific taxi information. Some additional hold short points were added to the cross taxiways. Tower elevation viewpoint raised to 200 ft. AI parking slots were randomized to improve parking distribution. They are all generic default parking-You may add your own specific parking slots by using Lee Swordy's excellent AFCAD 2. Some minor deletions of unused nodes. Requires Rock Sound International airport to be installed in FS9.

Installation:

Unzip and then drop the 'AF2_MYER' bgl into your FS Main Directory/Addon Scenery/Scenery folder. If you don't like it you can remove it by simply deleting the file.

MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL AF2_MYER OR RENAME IT. THIS ALLOWS YOU TO REVERT TO THE ORIGINAL AFCAD BY EITHER COPYING IT BACK OR RENAMING.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.

FS2004 add-ons go into FS9\Aircraft\, FS9\Addon Scenery\, FS9\Gauges\, or FS9\Effects\.
