FS2004 AFCAD2 File For YBAS

Alice Springs Airport (YBAS) gets a smarter default layout in FS2004 with additional gates and GA parking, restored Taxiway M access to Runway 12, and refined taxiway and runway lighting. Gates follow sensible numbering and sizing for AI traffic, plus a lit helipad and control-tower roof views; requires AFCAD2 for edits.

Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004

Alice Springs, Australia. Updates the default airport with extra gates and parking, improved taxiway/runway lighting, adds missing taxiway M, and more. By Ray Smith.

This file is for the default airport with extra gates/GA parking, Taxiway/Runway lighting has been improved, the missing taxiway M has been added which is the entry to rwy 12, gates are numbered/sized in the correct order within the constraints of fs9, although there is no official helipad at Alice Springs I have added one which has lighting, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (only when you are in tower view) fully tested with Ultimate Traffic but not required.

Feel free to modify as you wish, to change settings Lee Swordy's wonderful AFCAD2 is required.

To Install:

Simply take the AF2_YBAS.bgl file and put it into your Flight Simulator 9\Addon Scenery\Scenery folder.
Start up the Flight Sim and the changes will be present.

To Uninstall:

Delete the file (AF2_YBAS.bgl) and the default will then be active.

Extract the downloaded archive

Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
