It requires the Level-D 767 payware package and installs via Repaint Manager, making it easy to add a polished wide-body look to the fleet.

Flight Simulator X Prepar3D

This aircraft is a mid-size, wide-body twin-engine jet airliner built by Boeing Commercial. As of December 2012, Boeing has delivered more than 2240 aircraft around the world. This variant is powered by the Pratt and Whitney JT9D. You must own the Level D B767 payware package to use these textures. This model with work with both version with or with out winglets. Auto install with Repaint Manager. Color design by J.D. Starseed. Repaint work by Kevin Keegan.

NOTE! This livery will work in both Non-winglet and winglet versions. Use the same 5 steps below.

Installation:

  • Unzip the downloaded file and extract the ldx . livery file.
  • Place the texture file in the "Dowloads" folder in your LVLD_763_Winglet aircraft folder.
  • Go to Repaint Manager in the Level D aircraft folder.
  • Click on the 'Add Repaint to Install' button and select / LDS767_Repaint_Level_D_Simulations_B767-300ER_PW_Winglet_Star_Airways.ldx
  • Livery Manager will manage install from there. That's it enjoy!

How to install this mod

FSX / P3D aircraft
  1. Extract the downloaded archive

    Use 7-Zip (free) or WinRAR to extract the ZIP to a temporary folder. Don't install while still zipped — the simulator can't read inside ZIP files.
  2. Copy aircraft files into SimObjects

    Place the aircraft folder inside FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes\. The folder must contain an aircraft.cfg file. Effects go into FSX\Effects\; gauges go into FSX\Gauges\.
  3. Verify in FSX

    Launch FSX, go to Free Flight → Select Aircraft and find your new aircraft under its manufacturer.
  4. Always read the included readme

    Every mod ships with a readme.txt or README file. It tells you exactly where files go, what dependencies are needed, and any quirks specific to this add-on.
